I was extremely happy when the guy from Mount Valley Foundation came up for free estimate and showed me on computer visually how the pillar can be fixed by true experts. The Charleston office team is professional, responsive to questions, and thorough in consultation with photos and diagrams to problems with our foundation. The team who performed the work were on time, worked all day, reported any problems and offered solutions. Pleased with the quality of work. Our problem was sagging floors due to lack of foundation support beams in a post and beam construction. The building code requirements 20 years ago was inadequate to support the house over time. We had several I beams installed with supporting jacks to level the foundation and prevent further sagging.

I would like to thank the guys that did the work Donavan Rougeaux, Durand Rougeaux and Dre Nesbitt. There were a couple of other guys that worked on the first section but I do not remember their names but Donavan and Durand both worked on all parts of the basement. I could not of had any group of guys that were as nice and respectful as this group. I asked Donavon and Durand many questions and they always had answers for me and did not mind me asking so many questions. I actually asked that they have Donavon and Durand to be assigned the second part of the project. They were awesome and I would recommend Mt Valley to anyone. I actually have already told someone to call and if they had work done by Mt Valley to request Donavon and Durand. I am so happy with the workmanship and the attitude of the crew. They are hardworking gentlemen with a work ethic that is inspiring. Mt Valley you are fortunate to have such great employees, what they reflect on your company is worth a lot in today's world. Employees like these brothers and the people working with them is commendable. Thank you guys it was a pleasure meeting you. Larry, thank you for your help and thank you for having Donavon and Durand do this part. All three of the guys worked so very hard. Thank you guys, I appreciate all your hard work . They went above and beyond to complete the work on a Sunday with very short notice. They were very willing to explain all of the procedures and answer any questions we had. They were polite and conscientious. They left everything clean and took careful attention to look out for walls and baseboards. We had an excellent experience with Mount Valley Foundation. Will was informative and supportive from the first evaluation to the project’s conclusion, going above and beyond to alleviate concerns. Ron (the foreman), Jacob and Von were professional, respectful, and very patient throughout the entire project to encapsulate the foundation and address some issues. Ron took the time to explain each step and made sure all of our questions were answered. The worksite was kept clean and organized, and we received regular updates along the way. The quality of work and communication from the entire team really stood out. We would absolutely recommend this company to others.

I’ve been looking to have the foundation on my garage stabilized for sometime. My wife saw an ad by Mike Rowe from Dirty Job and we reached out and we were connected with Mountain Valley Foundations. The initial contact and proposal by Josh was seamless and very professional. The work was scheduled within a reasonable time and the work crew arrived on time and completed the job early, with great communication and pictures of the work. Jack the foreman kept me in the loop throughout the entire project. Dalton and Cameron worked diligently to complete the project always careful not to damage existing landscaping or encroach the neighbors land. Highly recommend if you have foundation issues.

From start to finish Mount Valley Foundation did an amazing job. My husband and I just moved from WI into a 1950s home. We would set our AC to 70 and the humidity would make it 85 in the home. We got a few different quotes and made our choice. As a first time home owner it’s always scary trying to find the right pick but Shaun, Dre, and Alex were all very informative about what they were doing and was always patient about me asking questions. After a day of completion we now stay at a nice 70 degree home with low humidity.

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had with contractors, start to finish. Our basement was flooding during every heavy rain. We called a few companies and settled on Mount Valley for their reviews and response. They came out, quoted us a great price for a lot of work, and a few weeks later showed up to do it. Upon arrival, the site supervisor noticed that the layout we'd drawn up might not work with the water issues we were having. He made the change on site, got everything where it needed to be, and was out on time. The work ended up being less, and Mount Valley submitted a change order to actually give me my savings. John, Jeremy, Desmond, and Marty were all excellent communicators, diligent workers, and I couldn't be happier. Truly a pleasure of an experience. I wish Mount Valley could do my electrical and plumbing work next.

Today we met Dickie Walters, field inspector, for mount valley foundation. He was everything you would want in a consultation about something as nerve racking as foundation issues. He was personable to the point where it felt comfortable, yet professional enough still to trust what he was saying. He spent a great deal of time walking through each room, assessing the house, and answering all of my questions, which were a lot!! William, Greg and Lewis worked on our house for 2 days. They installed 7 push piers the 1st day and 9 IntelliJacks the 2nd day. They did an excellent job with the installations. They back-filledthe holes, mortared the cracks and restored the landscaping so that it was almost impossible to tell any work was done. They were all very courteous, polite, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them. I would have given 5 stars, but one minor problem occurred. A light fixture was broken in the crawl space which I was not told about and discovered it after they left. I reported it to the company and a supervisor offered to come out to replace it, but I had already gotten replacement parts for it. It would have been nice if they offered a credit to my account instead. I wish I could give them 4 and 1/2 stars, but I'm limited to 4.

Job was quoted, accepted, and then they followed through exactly as promised. Mike Zelewski went above and beyond my expectations getting the huge job done when promised. We have a 3 year old son so getting our basement fixed was #1 priority. MVFS made us feel like they respected that. I 100% recommend them for any foundation service needs. My job was 60 linear feet, 12 inches wide, about 5 inches deep. Closed gutter system into sump pump. All interior walk out basement. They also installed vapor barrier on all interior block walls.

My termite bond company alerted me to an extremely high humidity problem in my crawl space. Mold and wood rot were going to be a problem if we did not get it under control so an encapsulation was needed. I called 3 different companies to come and quote the job. Jack Jeffords from Mount Valley came and gave me a no nonsense estimate of what needed to be done. He proposed exactly what was necessary and didn't pad the quote with a bunch of extras that would drive the cost up. MTVS has a low price guarantee stating that they will match any other competitors quote for like for like work and beat it by $100. Encapsulation done properly is not an inexpensive situation. That being said they beat one of the competitors quotes by $10,000 and met the price of the other lowest price that I had received. Jack and his manager worked with me to get the lowest possible cost and I felt really confident with Mount Valley as a organization.A deposit was paid and the work was scheduled about a month away. I got a phone call from the office asking if I would like an earlier date and I said yes. They had a job that had gotten postponed and I was able to take that slot about 3 weeks earlier than scheduled.On the morning of my appointment I was greeted by the job foreman Alex and his assistant Roderick. These guys were great in every respect. My crawl space is quite low and difficult, only 2' at it's tallest point. These two guys attacked it without a complaint and in quick order had the old vapor barrier pulled out and the trash and debris removed and bagged up. They began to wrap the 21 piers and cover the foundation walls with their 20 mil plastic. Then they covered the crawl space floor and the taping process began. On the third day David came and was part of the work crew as well. These guys were all very friendly hard working sharp fellows and were a joy to work with!I am 100% pleased with the whole experience and highly recommend Mount Valley Foundation Service. They will do a great job for you and won't try to oversell or take advantage of you.Thanks MVFS for fixing my problem and protecting my home.
