Roger Britton and Dickie Walters conducted a thorough assessment of the foundation issues at my home and responded intelligently to my questions. The work team, lead by Wesley Capps, along with team members, John Harris, Marcus Hurley and Tommy Hudson worked together well, carefully executed the installation of 8 piers and restored each work area neatly. I am very pleased with the results.

I am considering purchasing two duplexes (4 units) at 4005 Ridgewood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29203. This is an investment property and it needs foundation repair in that the floors in the middle of the house seem to sag (I think it's to be jacked and piered). I think both buildings will need work. I am currently gathering soft estimates so I know what I'm getting into. Any estimate info you can provide, is appreciated.

Due to recent rains, we have a small sinkhole about the size of a 50 gallon drum deep and wide in a 3 ft space behind our unit fence. Beyond that space there is a slope at about a 30-40 % grade. It has apparently been sinking prior to the sinkhole and has caused structural sagging of a section of the back deck and a small utility room that I don't believe is structurally attached to the unit. There doesn't appear to be any damage to the unit at this point. Other Home owners have apparently had a similar issue as we can see from the bag that two of them have filled similar holes with large granite looking rocks. We do not live in Columbia, but are here on Monday and was hoping someone could meet us at the property to give us aa proposed fix and estimate.
