The follow-up is always the proof of good service. It's pretty hard to get good contractors out here in the middle of nowhere South Carolina. When I moved into my home with a slab foundation, the last thing I thought I have to deal with was PVC plumbing pipes being used as foundation supports. Apparently the house had settled, crushing one of the drainage pipes, allowing fresh water to flow into my septic system. The plumber couldn't repair the pipe due to fear of the house sinking more. So I did some research, and chose Mount Valley Services. The work was relatively minimally invasive, and everything looked normal after the support was installed. Flashforward to today, Service Technician Bryan Curtis was able to keep me reassured about the foundation's support by solving the issues I was having with wide gaps under my doors. He had to go full Sherlock Holmes style to do it, but he figured it out, giving me peace of mind, and one less thing to worry about. All of these reports about sinkholes have me paranoid. Thank goodness my house is supported at the bedrock level. Thanks Mount Valley. Highly recommended.

I reached out to Mount Valley Foundations and asked them to send someone out to evaluate my crawl space and provide me a quote for a full encapsulation. An appointment was set and Patrick showed up to our house as scheduled. He completed a thorough inspection, then sat with us for over an hour explaining in detail what he saw. He provided pictures taken under our house and used slides/videos to educate us on encapsulation. Patrick was very professional, answered all our questions and guided us through our financing options. From there, we were placed on the schedule for install. Derrick and TJ were the team they sent for our project. They called us the morning of to let us know they were on the way. When they arrived, Derrick explained what they were going to do each step of the way and got right to work. The encapsulation took a little over two days. On the last day, Derrick took me into the crawl space and made sure I was happy with the installation. Rarely do finished products look like the marketing photos, but this was the exception; everything was meticulous! I'm in residential construction by trade so I'm somewhat familiar with air sealing techniques and this job was done with care. Thank you to Derrick, TJ, Patrick and the entire team at Mount Valley Foundations!

Patrick came out the same day I called in to have a quote for my jacks and was very informative. He spent over three hours inspecting my perimeter inspecting every area of my crawlspace. What I am intending to do is take down a weight-bearing wall between two living room rooms and I called Mount Valley Foundation-NOW called Groundworks. Patrick provided me with the most detailed explanation about my crawlspace. I have not used This company yet, as I am still getting other quotes but I will say this is a serious consideration. The prices were reasonable very reasonable and he was applying a 15% discount to that as well. Professionalism was on point. Detailed oriented and provided me with 47 pictures of my crawlspace. Thank you for coming out taking the time without trying to be a pushy salesman. I will be using you For this project.

I spent a great deal of time researching crawlspace encapsulation, so I knew what to look for in regards to quality. These guys are incredible and did a very good job in every single area. I also got quotes from two other companies before I went with Mountain Valley, and in comparison, the materials Mountain Valley used and their techniques were superior. The crawlspace encapsulation looks amazing. The team was also very friendly and super kind. I highly recommend them.

From consultation through completion of work, everyone was the consummate professional. The installer’s work exceeded expectations. Every stage of work was thoroughly explained. Truly, I didn’t know that there was so much junk in my crawl space to be removed. Nonetheless, all loose items were removed.The installation to include removing junk was a full three days. I would definitely recommend the full package to include dehumidifier as advertised. Now, I wait for return on investment ((ROI) – lowering of inside dust and energy efficiency. Chris was very professional and did a thorough job of explaining everything they needed to complete to make the crawl space up to standards. Jalen communicated when he was on the way and when he arrived. Explained everything, cleaned up afterwards, and provided me with pictures of the work that was done. I need an additional outlet for the condensation pump and once installed, he even offered to come back to complete that installation. He explained that how he set it up, the condensation run to the sub pump. I was impressed with the entire staff and their professionalism.
