I had a dangerous difference in elevation of the two slabs on my porch, actually creating a trip hazard. Now, the floor is as smooth as glass! And, it's really interesting to watch them work!

I was very fortunate to call Mount Valley foundation services to repair our dehumidifier in our basement. The diagnosis and service provided by Scott Berger the technician was over the top. He knows his stuff very well. He not only repaired the issue, but was able to check on the warranty and replace the unit at no cost to me. Definitely recommend these guys.

I have no complaints about the technicians sent to my house. There were several, as they kept sending people who were too big to fit under my house, but they were all nice and professional. Eventually, the Service Manager showed up with a team and things moved a little faster. However, ultimately it took six months to get any actual work completed. They just finished up the last piece of the project Jan 2, 2026, which was late, but it was the primary thing I wanted and needed done – it was the warranty work – adjusting the jacks. It wasn’t completed by the date they originally said it would be, but it was eventually done and it did help. I also asked for a crawl space encapsulation. I didn’t get an encapsulation, I got a vapor barrier. It was included in the $28K worth of other recommended work, that I paid for. At this point I don’t know if it was worth it, but I sure hope it was. For me, that’s a lot of money! Anyway, two of their project foremen said the sump pump they installed was in the wrong place or there should be an additional one installed at the back corner of my house where the water (groundwater seepage) is actually occurring at. The Production Manager did call me back and agreed to re-evaluate in three months and said if the current setup with the installed French drains and sump pump at the front of the house isn’t getting that groundwater seepage out, he’ll have a crew install a second sump pump in that other location for free. Again, no complaints about the crews or quality of the work. Just questioning the accuracy and timeliness. It took so long that one of my walls finally cracked and that could have been avoided. Great work by Derrick, James, Jerome. Also Jarrod and Will – and their crews.

When I set up the appointment, I was afraid I'd feel pressured to use the service. Bradley Dixon, with the Greenville/Spartanburg office, was very courteous. I found him to very honest. Since there is a minimum upfront cost, and my project was very small, I decided to leave the sidewalk the way it was. Bradley was fine with my decision and didn't try to change my mind. If I ever have another project, I will certainly call them first.

One of Mount Valley's field inspectors, Elliot W., came out to inspect a small foundation issue I was concerned about. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection and gave me some recommendations for fixes and improvements that I could do myself to prevent further issues, and told me exactly what I needed to monitor to see if the issue was getting worse over time, as opposed to trying to sell me a solution that I didn't need right now. He even took his boots off before coming inside, which I appreciated. I left the inspection feeling confident that should the issue get worse, mount valley will be the guys for the job.

Anderson was very informative on the step by step process for a crawlspace encapsulation and installation of a dehumidifier. He provided pictures of the areas that need taken care of. The crew Darrell, Andrew and EJ were great! Darrell called every morning to let me know they were on the way. He let me know the progress they were making and the issues he saw. When the job was complete he send me the pictures of the final encapsulation and dehumidifier. It looks amazing! They were very professional and polite.

They were able to get us scheduled really quickly and Jerrod, Antino and Tevin did an amazing job with the repair. Our sloping floors are now even again! Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I would like to thank the guys that did the work Donavan Rougeaux, Durand Rougeaux and Dre Nesbitt. There were a couple of other guys that worked on the first section but I do not remember their names but Donavan and Durand both worked on all parts of the basement. I could not of had any group of guys that were as nice and respectful as this group. I asked Donavon and Durand many questions and they always had answers for me and did not mind me asking so many questions. I actually asked that they have Donavon and Durand to be assigned the second part of the project. They were awesome and I would recommend Mt Valley to anyone. I actually have already told someone to call and if they had work done by Mt Valley to request Donavon and Durand. I am so happy with the workmanship and the attitude of the crew. They are hardworking gentlemen with a work ethic that is inspiring. Mt Valley you are fortunate to have such great employees, what they reflect on your company is worth a lot in today's world. Employees like these brothers and the people working with them is commendable. Thank you guys it was a pleasure meeting you. Larry, thank you for your help and thank you for having Donavon and Durand do this part. All three of the guys worked so very hard. Thank you guys, I appreciate all your hard work . Mount Valley Foundation continues to exceed my expectations. Ron, Scott, and Kolby did an outstanding job on the cellar at our 615 building. They removed years of old debris, installed a sump pump and two dehumidifiers, and left the space looking incredible. What impressed me most was the professionalism. The job site was spotless when they finished, and Ron communicated project updates, arrival times, and departure times every step of the way. This is the third project my sales representative, Carlton, has quoted for me, and every one has gone exactly as planned. I’m a big fan of Mount Valley Foundation. Great company, great people, and they truly stand behind their work. Highly recommend!

William, Greg and Lewis worked on our house for 2 days. They installed 7 push piers the 1st day and 9 IntelliJacks the 2nd day. They did an excellent job with the installations. They back-filledthe holes, mortared the cracks and restored the landscaping so that it was almost impossible to tell any work was done. They were all very courteous, polite, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them. I would have given 5 stars, but one minor problem occurred. A light fixture was broken in the crawl space which I was not told about and discovered it after they left. I reported it to the company and a supervisor offered to come out to replace it, but I had already gotten replacement parts for it. It would have been nice if they offered a credit to my account instead. I wish I could give them 4 and 1/2 stars, but I'm limited to 4.

From consultation through completion of work, everyone was the consummate professional. The installer’s work exceeded expectations. Every stage of work was thoroughly explained. Truly, I didn’t know that there was so much junk in my crawl space to be removed. Nonetheless, all loose items were removed.The installation to include removing junk was a full three days. I would definitely recommend the full package to include dehumidifier as advertised. Now, I wait for return on investment ((ROI) – lowering of inside dust and energy efficiency. The three man crew arrived on time each day, worked efficiently, and kept the work area clean and safe. I reached out to Mount Valley Foundations and asked them to send someone out to evaluate my crawl space and provide me a quote for a full encapsulation. An appointment was set and Patrick showed up to our house as scheduled. He completed a thorough inspection, then sat with us for over an hour explaining in detail what he saw. He provided pictures taken under our house and used slides/videos to educate us on encapsulation. Patrick was very professional, answered all our questions and guided us through our financing options. From there, we were placed on the schedule for install. Derrick and TJ were the team they sent for our project. They called us the morning of to let us know they were on the way. When they arrived, Derrick explained what they were going to do each step of the way and got right to work. The encapsulation took a little over two days. On the last day, Derrick took me into the crawl space and made sure I was happy with the installation. Rarely do finished products look like the marketing photos, but this was the exception; everything was meticulous! I'm in residential construction by trade so I'm somewhat familiar with air sealing techniques and this job was done with care. Thank you to Derrick, TJ, Patrick and the entire team at Mount Valley Foundations!

I want to commend the outstanding work of Will Soulier (Foreman), Jimmy Bracey IV, and Myshaun Joyner. This crew recently installed eight foundation piers—six on my property and two at my neighbor’s—to prevent further settling. Their performance, professionalism, and attention to detail exceeded every expectation. Despite a mid-project equipment failure, Will quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue, minimizing downtime and keeping the job on track. His leadership was confident, calm, and efficient. Jimmy and Myshaun worked with focus, precision, and a strong sense of purpose—even while managing the challenge of my home's low-amperage breaker constantly tripping. Without the need to consult their foreman, they remained proactive and task-oriented, clearly taking full ownership of their roles. Both demonstrated strong leadership potential. Equally impressive was their demeanor throughout the day. They were respectful and patient around my children and tolerant of my presence as I observed the work. When my curiosity prompted questions, they each took the time to explain the process with professionalism, friendliness, and deep knowledge. They maintained clear attention to safety at all times and were remarkably considerate of my property—protecting the lawn, landscaping, and fixtures with great care. The fact that they completed the full scope of work in a single business day, with quality and efficiency, speaks volumes about their coordination and work ethic. This crew represented their company with integrity, craftsmanship, and pride. Their work and conduct reflect the highest standards, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the outcome.

Yesterday Mt Valley did foundation work for us. The following guys did a great job:Dondre Pondexter, Patrick Escwien and Scott Wingard. Scott kept us informed during the whole process. They went above and beyond to fix some issues caused by duct work done the day before. I highly recommend this company. Todd Lee did the estimate and came by also to check on the job. Thanks Todd.

He went over the warranty information after the job, and reassured me that if any adjustments were needed to just give them a call. The work was performed on my pool deck today by Austin and Michael and I am very happy with the work. As promised they called when they were in their way and arrived on time. Before the work was started we talked about my expectations and we were in agreement about the work to be performed. They explained the process and told me what to expect. I watched as they began the process and asked a few questions which they took the time to answer. When the job was completed I inspected the work and asked if they could fix something to my satisfaction. They happily agreed and added the few minor touchups. When they were finished I again inspected the work and was very happy with the final product. Austin and Michael explained the warranty and told me about the annual inspection. I was very pleased with the work that Austin and Michael performed along with the patience with all my questions and their professionalism. I would highly recommend Austin and Michael.

Yesterday the actual work was completed by Hector and Jamison and their work and customer service was impeccable. Very refreshing this day in age you can still find companies that “get it” and it is reflected by their personnel. Keep up the great work Mount Valley. Oh yeah…my initial contact was with Will Dupree and he’s the one who closed the deal. Fine young man and he’s right where he needs to be in the organization. Great with people and very genuine.

Over all, everything went well. The job was under estimated. There ended up needing to more additional jacks as the initial estimate did not cover all areas with issues. The guys that performed the work were very nice, professional and courteous while on site. Did great work and resolved the floor issue. The only issue that I did have was the time they arrived to start work. I expected them to begin first thing in the morning's and put in full days of work to complete the project and not fitting in other jobs. The communication of arrival should have been better since I did take off work specifically for this job to be done. I was given a time of arrival and they did not show for several hours later. Again they did excellent work over all. Just need to work on arrival time and communication in my opinion.

Today we met Dickie Walters, field inspector, for mount valley foundation. He was everything you would want in a consultation about something as nerve racking as foundation issues. He was personable to the point where it felt comfortable, yet professional enough still to trust what he was saying. He spent a great deal of time walking through each room, assessing the house, and answering all of my questions, which were a lot!! I feel very confident about there products and services because of how Dickie conducted himself . I look forward to working with them. Feeling grateful !

Patrick came out the same day I called in to have a quote for my jacks and was very informative. He spent over three hours inspecting my perimeter inspecting every area of my crawlspace. What I am intending to do is take down a weight-bearing wall between two living room rooms and I called Mount Valley Foundation-NOW called Groundworks. Patrick provided me with the most detailed explanation about my crawlspace. I have not used This company yet, as I am still getting other quotes but I will say this is a serious consideration. The prices were reasonable very reasonable and he was applying a 15% discount to that as well. Professionalism was on point. Detailed oriented and provided me with 47 pictures of my crawlspace. Thank you for coming out taking the time without trying to be a pushy salesman. I will be using you For this project.
