Struggling with water seepage in the lower level of our house, I wanted to fix the problem once and for all and called Mount Valley. The inspector, Scott, did a detailed review, took the time to discuss everything, and made certain that my questions were answered. He also responded to follow-up questions that I had a few days later. Familiar with sump pump installations, having had one in a prior home, I became convinced that it would be the best way to ensure the problem would be solved. The initial installation schedule was farther out than I wanted, as we were trying to get ready for an influx of family, but MV was able to move us to an earlier date when they had a slot open up on their schedule. The installation foreman, Durand, worked with me to resolve site issues even though it meant another visit a few days later. The final installation was accomplished as Durand, Ron T, and Patrick worked past normal hours as the sun was going down to get the job done. In the end, I was grateful for a professional job by the MV team and the courtesy extended by everyone throughout. They are deserving of a fine review.

Q, Dre & Nate worked on our house for 3 days encapsulating it. They were professional in every way. We are totally satisfied. We had a small issue about 2 weeks later. Called for a technician to come check it out. Michael Stone came within 48 hrs & fixed the minor repair. From inspection to installation to follow up we had a great experience with MVF.

We have had two jobs done by Mount Valley on two homes. Josh Craig crew did a good job and tried to save my original hardwood flooring. To be honest though, we live in far WNC and after calling 10 companies…all led to Mount Valley, so there's no competition other than locals who are either crummy or 6 months out if they are reliable and worthwhile. So, although I rate them overpriced, I guess they may be reasonably priced given our situation.

Dustin , our inspector, explained our issue and the work required to resolve problem. Our crew of Josh, Connor and Da:shon arrived on time, introduced themselves and began working. I was impressed by how well they worked together and were able to discuss and resolve differences. One issue arose and they handled it in a mature and honest manner. We now have a very safe kitchen floor and they even left us with a working sink till new kitchen arrives. Would give 10 of 10 if possible.

This crew recently installed eight foundation piers—six on my property and two at my neighbor’s—to prevent further settling. Their performance, professionalism, and attention to detail exceeded every expectation. Despite a mid-project equipment failure, Will quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue, minimizing downtime and keeping the job on track. His leadership was confident, calm, and efficient. Jimmy and Myshaun worked with focus, precision, and a strong sense of purpose—even while managing the challenge of my home's low-amperage breaker constantly tripping. Without the need to consult their foreman, they remained proactive and task-oriented, clearly taking full ownership of their roles. Both demonstrated strong leadership potential. Equally impressive was their demeanor throughout the day. They were respectful and patient around my children and tolerant of my presence as I observed the work. When my curiosity prompted questions, they each took the time to explain the process with professionalism, friendliness, and deep knowledge. They maintained clear attention to safety at all times and were remarkably considerate of my property—protecting the lawn, landscaping, and fixtures with great care. From start to finish Mount Valley Foundation did an amazing job. My husband and I just moved from WI into a 1950s home. We would set our AC to 70 and the humidity would make it 85 in the home. We got a few different quotes and made our choice. As a first time home owner it’s always scary trying to find the right pick but Shaun, Dre, and Alex were all very informative about what they were doing and was always patient about me asking questions. After a day of completion we now stay at a nice 70 degree home with low humidity.

One of Mount Valley's field inspectors, Elliot W., came out to inspect a small foundation issue I was concerned about. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection and gave me some recommendations for fixes and improvements that I could do myself to prevent further issues, and told me exactly what I needed to monitor to see if the issue was getting worse over time, as opposed to trying to sell me a solution that I didn't need right now. He even took his boots off before coming inside, which I appreciated. I left the inspection feeling confident that should the issue get worse, mount valley will be the guys for the job.

From the very first phone call, Jon was professional, courteous, and attentive. When we scheduled the appointment, he showed up exactly when he said he would — which already speaks volumes about his character. But what really impressed us was what happened next. Jon didn’t just “look around” and throw together a quick estimate. He took his time — real time — to thoroughly inspect everything. He crawled underneath the crawlspace, carefully examined the foundation, inspected the cross members, and checked every area where there could potentially be an issue. He was methodical, detailed, and incredibly thorough. It was clear he genuinely cared about understanding the full scope of the situation rather than just selling a service. We originally reached out for an estimate on encapsulation, but Jon made sure no stone was left unturned. He explained what he was seeing in clear, understandable terms — not technical jargon that leaves you confused. What really stood out to us was his integrity. Jon didn’t rush us. He didn’t push us. He didn’t make us feel like we were “just another job.” He gave us space to think, answered every question patiently, and made sure we were comfortable and confident in what was being discussed. He even pointed out additional services and features the company offers that could benefit us in the future — not in a sales-driven way, but in a helpful, informative way. Beyond his professionalism, Jon is simply a great human being. He is knowledgeable, respectful, well-mannered, and genuinely pleasant to be around. We actually sat down and enjoyed lunch together while he was here, and at no point did he seem rushed or distracted. That speaks volumes. In today’s world, it’s rare to meet someone who blends professionalism with such authenticity and kindness. Jon is reliable, trustworthy, and follows through on what he says he will do — and then goes above and beyond. We had a great experience with Mt. Valley! They did what they said they would do. Andy and his team (Ryan, Darrian, Tanjier) arrived right on time both days, worked hard, cleaned up the site and we hardly new they were there except for a little banging around under the house. We could already tell a big difference by the end of day 1, and they completed in only 2 days. Andy walked with us through the house as final leveling adjustments were made and addressed our concern locations. Very satisfied customers!

There were some challenges during the first day of repairs, but what stood out to me was how quickly and effectively the team addressed them. David, the field superintendent, took the initiative to conduct a new inspection, reevaluate the situation, and develop a thorough action plan to resolve the issues. His professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in his work were evident throughout the process, and his communication kept me informed every step of the way. The project took longer than expected due to some unforeseen complications, but David and the team stayed committed to doing the job correctly. David went above and beyond, documenting the process with photos and maintaining constant communication, which gave me peace of mind. An example of their meticulous work was when they identified a significant hole in my HVAC return duct during the repairs. Not only did they alert me to the issue, but David and his team also took the time to patch it with HVAC tape I had on hand, a kind and thoughtful gesture that has allowed me to address the problem fully. Garrett, one of the repair technicians, was also exceptional. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication were evident in every interaction. Adding to the complexity of the situation, my home was undergoing hurricane damage repairs with other contractors frequently on-site. The Mountain Valley Foundation team worked seamlessly with them, which made a potentially stressful situation much easier for me. Their adaptability and cooperation with other professionals highlighted their commitment to customer satisfaction. In the end, Mountain Valley Foundation delivered high-quality work and ensured my foundation repairs were completed correctly. I am incredibly grateful for their hard work and the care they showed throughout the process. Thank you, David, Garrett, and the entire team for your outstanding efforts!

Mount Valley Foundation continues to exceed my expectations. Ron, Scott, and Kolby did an outstanding job on the cellar at our 615 building. They removed years of old debris, installed a sump pump and two dehumidifiers, and left the space looking incredible. What impressed me most was the professionalism. The job site was spotless when they finished, and Ron communicated project updates, arrival times, and departure times every step of the way. This is the third project my sales representative, Carlton, has quoted for me, and every one has gone exactly as planned. I’m a big fan of Mount Valley Foundation. Great company, great people, and they truly stand behind their work. Highly recommend!

Friendly, courteous, and respectful service that will also span years of followup care, hereinafter. These are very qualified individuals, and they were good at their tasks and responsible to manage the care of my home! I would recommend them to anyone!!! Let me also spotlight Jalen, Garrett, and Hunter, the three men that accomplished all of the above-mentioned labor and results! They were terrific people to deal with, too, and I think I may have made some long-term friends in the process as we interacted well together!!! Let me likewise highlight the initial phase of getting the financing approved and writing the contract and getting the engineering in progress and orchestrating the whole project, all that was done by Carlton, who was tremendous in working all of this out! Patrick came out the same day I called in to have a quote for my jacks and was very informative. He spent over three hours inspecting my perimeter inspecting every area of my crawlspace. What I am intending to do is take down a weight-bearing wall between two living room rooms and I called Mount Valley Foundation-NOW called Groundworks. Patrick provided me with the most detailed explanation about my crawlspace. I have not used This company yet, as I am still getting other quotes but I will say this is a serious consideration. The prices were reasonable very reasonable and he was applying a 15% discount to that as well. Professionalism was on point. Detailed oriented and provided me with 47 pictures of my crawlspace. Thank you for coming out taking the time without trying to be a pushy salesman. I will be using you For this project.

After identifying issues that was preventing proper drainage he came back out after hours and fixed my problem.
