Will, Andy and Ober could not have been better! We had to have some foundation piers and crawl space supports installed. They actually called and asked if the could come a day earlier than expected. They were professional and courteous from the time they showed up until the time they completed the job. They kept us informed of any problems and the status of the work. Could not have had a better experience from the time that Dan quoted the job to the completion of the work. Would highly recommend Mt Valley/Groundworks for any foundation or crawl space work!

Job was quoted, accepted, and then they followed through exactly as promised. Mike Zelewski went above and beyond my expectations getting the huge job done when promised. We have a 3 year old son so getting our basement fixed was #1 priority. MVFS made us feel like they respected that. I 100% recommend them for any foundation service needs. My job was 60 linear feet, 12 inches wide, about 5 inches deep. Closed gutter system into sump pump. All interior walk out basement. They also installed vapor barrier on all interior block walls.

The salesman Trey Smedley came measured my house went thru with laser then came to me to show what he found explained everything. He answered every question I had, showed videos of how things were done. He was patient very polite. I’ve had other quotes but they never took time to show me what they found figured quote they didn’t go thru all the rooms only bedrooms. I had other places that Trey found and price for all work was not much higher and I’m getting what the other quote never discussed. My opinion you have a great salesman even when I broke down and cried because I’m stressed with issue and having to pay for all that’s wrong with house. He gave me a minute to get myself together. I’m widowed it’s me now and I struggle but this has to be done before it gets more costly. He deserves a good bonus you’re very lucky to have him on your team

We scheduled three appointments with local foundation companies to get estimates on jack placement in our crawlspace. All were professional and.provided information, photos and pricing. We chose Mount Valley because of interaction with John Penn. Pricing was competitive but we felt most informed and confident with John and Mount.Valley. He was available and prompt to answer questions and concerns. On installation day, Tommy and crew arrived on time, introduced themselves and quickly went to work. The Charleston office team is professional, responsive to questions, and thorough in consultation with photos and diagrams to problems with our foundation. The team who performed the work were on time, worked all day, reported any problems and offered solutions. Pleased with the quality of work. Our problem was sagging floors due to lack of foundation support beams in a post and beam construction. The building code requirements 20 years ago was inadequate to support the house over time. We had several I beams installed with supporting jacks to level the foundation and prevent further sagging.

It was great talking with them while I looked over their work as they were finishing up, and even though it was late they made sure to expend the extra effort to thoroughly inspect the seals around the door and sump pump. All the while they had nothing but good things to say about Mount Valley. I’ve been looking to have the foundation on my garage stabilized for sometime. My wife saw an ad by Mike Rowe from Dirty Job and we reached out and we were connected with Mountain Valley Foundations. The initial contact and proposal by Josh was seamless and very professional. The work was scheduled within a reasonable time and the work crew arrived on time and completed the job early, with great communication and pictures of the work. Jack the foreman kept me in the loop throughout the entire project. Dalton and Cameron worked diligently to complete the project always careful not to damage existing landscaping or encroach the neighbors land. Highly recommend if you have foundation issues.

We had Don Lester come out to inspect our encapsulation and dehumidifier efficiency. He did an amazing job asking clarifying questions to ensure everything was inspected and measured thoroughly. He was punctual, polite, and had excellent communication skills. My termite bond company alerted me to an extremely high humidity problem in my crawl space. Mold and wood rot were going to be a problem if we did not get it under control so an encapsulation was needed. I called 3 different companies to come and quote the job. Jack Jeffords from Mount Valley came and gave me a no nonsense estimate of what needed to be done. He proposed exactly what was necessary and didn't pad the quote with a bunch of extras that would drive the cost up. MTVS has a low price guarantee stating that they will match any other competitors quote for like for like work and beat it by $100. Encapsulation done properly is not an inexpensive situation. That being said they beat one of the competitors quotes by $10,000 and met the price of the other lowest price that I had received. Jack and his manager worked with me to get the lowest possible cost and I felt really confident with Mount Valley as a organization.A deposit was paid and the work was scheduled about a month away. I got a phone call from the office asking if I would like an earlier date and I said yes. They had a job that had gotten postponed and I was able to take that slot about 3 weeks earlier than scheduled.On the morning of my appointment I was greeted by the job foreman Alex and his assistant Roderick. These guys were great in every respect. My crawl space is quite low and difficult, only 2' at it's tallest point. These two guys attacked it without a complaint and in quick order had the old vapor barrier pulled out and the trash and debris removed and bagged up. They began to wrap the 21 piers and cover the foundation walls with their 20 mil plastic. Then they covered the crawl space floor and the taping process began. On the third day David came and was part of the work crew as well. These guys were all very friendly hard working sharp fellows and were a joy to work with!I am 100% pleased with the whole experience and highly recommend Mount Valley Foundation Service. They will do a great job for you and won't try to oversell or take advantage of you.Thanks MVFS for fixing my problem and protecting my home.

Whatever you're paying him, pay him more. What was an unacceptable job turned in to exactly what we wanted with a few hours of extra effort.

One of Mount Valley's field inspectors, Elliot W., came out to inspect a small foundation issue I was concerned about. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection and gave me some recommendations for fixes and improvements that I could do myself to prevent further issues, and told me exactly what I needed to monitor to see if the issue was getting worse over time, as opposed to trying to sell me a solution that I didn't need right now. He even took his boots off before coming inside, which I appreciated. I left the inspection feeling confident that should the issue get worse, mount valley will be the guys for the job.

We discovered a crack in the foundation that ran along the interior of the outer walls of the house. I called Mount Valley and Dustin came to inspect. One corner of the foundation had dropped half an inch. I decided to contract their services. Yiannis and Landon arrived a few days later. They walked me through the repair process before proceeding and did a fantastic job. Before they left we walked through the work area and presented the results. I am impressed with quality of the work done. I will be recommending Mount Valley to everyone I know.

I had to have 2 steel beams and jacks put under my floor because my house was sagging from on end to the other side Scott McCloskey came and looked at the job and told us what I needed to do. They were able to start the job in a week, which was earlier than the date I was given. Durand, Mary Beth and Eli did an excellent job on my foundation. They were all so polite when I went out to talk to them. They cleaned up everything after they finished. Durand kept us informed on everything.
