It’s scary contracting with Foundation companies as the cost of thousands of dollars is in the offing. Our 85 year-old house in Wagener Terrace needed 11 floor and structural supports. Kevin reviewed the crawlspace with me and the work was performed by Derek and TJ, resulting in what now feels like a new house! More specifically, the trust that Kevin relays and the extraordinary and professional job efforts of Derek and TJ resulted in a superior outcome. These individuals have done Mt. We had Mount Vally come out to fix some of our floor joists and subfloor under our master bedroom and bathroom after we had water damage from a broken water pipe. Everyone I spoke with was super helpful and friendly from John who came out for our quote to Chris who helped get us financed to pay for the project. I am kicking myself for not being able to remember the Forman and his crewmen’s names that came out to do the work because they were awesome! They worked efficiently and quickly to get the job done and when a problem came up, they let me know immediately and we got it worked out quickly to keep the project going. I thought there would be a ton of noise and in and out of the house but these guys were so quiet I had to check on them from time to time to see if they were still here only to be amazed at how much work they got done. They made sure everything was cleaned up when they were done and put back the way it was. Will definitely be referring people to Mount Vally and more than likely hiring them to come back out for more projects! Thanks guys! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

5 star review but the Only issue is that 2 of the guys that were here working was using real bad language thankfully my children weren't around but they were yelling and using it across my yard at each other so my neighbors with small kids most likely heard them . They also left nail gun nails all in my driveway which could of been bad if myself or someone else ran them over. They left some trash throughout my carport.

Very impressed with Mt Valley Foundation from our initial contact as I talked with a person to schedule an appointment for foundation inspection. Dustin , our inspector, explained our issue and the work required to resolve problem. Our crew of Josh, Connor and Da:shon arrived on time, introduced themselves and began working. I was impressed by how well they worked together and were able to discuss and resolve differences. One issue arose and they handled it in a mature and honest manner. We now have a very safe kitchen floor and they even left us with a working sink till new kitchen arrives. Would give 10 of 10 if possible.

I reached out to Mount Valley Foundations and asked them to send someone out to evaluate my crawl space and provide me a quote for a full encapsulation. An appointment was set and Patrick showed up to our house as scheduled. He completed a thorough inspection, then sat with us for over an hour explaining in detail what he saw. He provided pictures taken under our house and used slides/videos to educate us on encapsulation. Patrick was very professional, answered all our questions and guided us through our financing options. From there, we were placed on the schedule for install. Derrick and TJ were the team they sent for our project. They called us the morning of to let us know they were on the way. When they arrived, Derrick explained what they were going to do each step of the way and got right to work. The encapsulation took a little over two days. On the last day, Derrick took me into the crawl space and made sure I was happy with the installation. Rarely do finished products look like the marketing photos, but this was the exception; everything was meticulous! I'm in residential construction by trade so I'm somewhat familiar with air sealing techniques and this job was done with care. Thank you to Derrick, TJ, Patrick and the entire team at Mount Valley Foundations!

Today we met Dickie Walters, field inspector, for mount valley foundation. He was everything you would want in a consultation about something as nerve racking as foundation issues. He was personable to the point where it felt comfortable, yet professional enough still to trust what he was saying. He spent a great deal of time walking through each room, assessing the house, and answering all of my questions, which were a lot!! We had GroundWorks out before and that crew really only did half the job. Okay. I thought that I wrote a review for Mt. Valley last year for the work that was done in October, 2025. Since last year, all who have come to do other work on my home have been impressed by the work that was done by Messiah and the team of men that worked with him. The team was very professional and explained everything, clearly, that had to be done. They had no problems answering my questions. I've had two concerns since the work and Mt. Valley came out right away to check out my concerns. I am pleased with the service that has been given to me. Groundwork has taken over or merged, I don't know. I've since had to get pier work done due to a foundation issue as of July 8, 2026. So, Groundworks has come out to do the work. It is not completed yet. The inspection has to be done. I'll give a review on that work afterwards. As of this writing, Patrick and the team of men who worked with him were great and addressed my concerns. Thank you.

​I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mount Valley Foundation, specifically Jonathan Geddie. Jonathan came to my home on his personal time—a Sunday!—which speaks volumes about his dedication. He was polite, punctual, and arrived at the time we agreed on. He came highly recommended by a mutual friend, and he lived up to every bit of that praise. Jonathan politely knocked at my front door and introduced himself. It was at this point I realized he was with Mount Vally. Jonathan listened to my wants and had coffee with us before he inspected my crawlspace. He WAS underneath for awhile and I even started to worry about his well being until he came back to the front door and politely knocked again, which is appreciated in a household full of dogs. He asked if we were ready to see the pictures; we weren't. We were actually ready to eat! With the bountiful amount of chili my partner made we invited him to eat with us, and he filled our hearts by acceptingour invitation. We shared a meal and moments that felt like we have known each other for years! We felt so completely comfortable & truly enjoyed his company. After we got to the bottom of our bowls it was time to see what actual took so long underneath the house, and boy!- we were had no clue. Jonathan went into detail of the areas of concern with pictures to prove it. Jonathan went through each picture with us. Unlike the other three companies I called, Jonathan didn’t just give me a price; he showed me the mold, standing water, and rotten beams through photos. He saved me from a huge mistake—encapsulating a house that was structurally unsound. He made sure all my questions were answered. I’m starting with my structural repairs now with my partners workers from his company, but Mount Valley will be the only ones I call for the drainage and encapsulation once that’s finished! We would have loved to have Mount Valley do the whole project for us, but unfortunately we are not ballers like that. But after seeing the videos that was presented at the time of our inspection and after listening to other companies, we will definitely have Jonathan back over to sign a contract! Not just because of our wonderful experience with Jonathan , but also because Mount Valley offers a 2 year same as cash financing, and that is an incredible offer and ver manageable for us! My husband and I had a great experience with Mount Valley! Brandon did our initial consultation. He was timely, thorough, and answered all our questions professionally. We had work done on two separate days and again everyone who showed up had amazing customer service. Will, Jimmy, Ober, Austin, and Michael all answered any questions we had without making us feel like we were in the way. They actually encouraged us to ask questions and watch the process to make sure we understood what was happening to our house. I also have peace of mind about my home with the transferable warranty.

The sales/estimator Trey and plan supervisor Phil made sure all permits were in place and the correct solution was designed for our unique problem. We called Mount Valley Foundation Services to request an inspection of our subfloor & floor joists due to cracked kitchen tiles & bouncy floor in an adjacent room. Glenn Joyner came out to do the inspection, and we were very impressed with his knowledge, experience, & friendly demeanor. He did a thorough inspection, showed us photos, & said our house was structurally sound, but bouncy floors were due to the long room having 40 yr. old floor joists that were sagging from age & prior moisture issues that existed before our crawl space was encapsulated 17 yrs. ago. He detailed how Mount Valley could raise the joists to permanently resolve the bounce, & the price to do so. We were forthright about needing to save for expense of raising the floor joists, & he offered us the option of using their financing plan, but was understanding when we said we had to make a plan & a timetable before moving forward. Our plan will include using Mount Valley when ready to proceed with repairs.

From start to finish Mount Valley Foundation did an amazing job. My husband and I just moved from WI into a 1950s home. We would set our AC to 70 and the humidity would make it 85 in the home. We got a few different quotes and made our choice. As a first time home owner it’s always scary trying to find the right pick but Shaun, Dre, and Alex were all very informative about what they were doing and was always patient about me asking questions. After a day of completion we now stay at a nice 70 degree home with low humidity.

This crew recently installed eight foundation piers–six on my property and two at my neighbor's–to prevent further settling. Their performance, professionalism, and attention to detail exceeded every expectation. Despite a mid-project equipment failure, Will quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue, minimizing downtime and keeping the job on track. His leadership was confident, calm, and efficient. Jimmy and Myshaun worked with focus, precision, and a strong sense of purpose–even while managing the challenge of my home's low-amperage breaker constantly tripping. Without the need to consult their foreman, they remained proactive and task-oriented, clearly taking full ownership of their roles. Both demonstrated strong leadership potential. Equally impressive was their demeanor throughout the day. They were respectful and patient around my children and tolerant of my presence as I observed the work. When my curiosity prompted questions, they each took the time to explain the process with professionalism, friendliness, and deep knowledge. They maintained clear attention to safety at all times and were remarkably considerate of my property–protecting the lawn, landscaping, and fixtures with great care. The three man crew arrived on time each day, worked efficiently, and kept the work area clean and safe. The only reason for a 4 star is due to the scheduling process, as it was horrific to say the least. Permitting not completed and job scheduled and then job rescheduled more few times. Outside of that, the team was very professional and did a great job cleaning up.
