On a bad note, I had to call in for a repair on my dehumidifier under the house and was told that it was not urgent and had to wait 2 and a half weeks to be seen. On a good note, the person that came out to do the repair was very knowledgeable and able to take care of it in one visit.

We had a couple guys come out to quote foundation issues and encapsulation. Mount Valley was amazing from start to finish. They guys are extremely polite and professional. They went out of their way to complete the job on time even when a member got sick the guy, Justin and Messian came through to finish the job on schedule. These gentleman showed us a leak and looked throughout the home to check anywhere else. They buttoned up the crawlspace and gave us instructions for the dehumidifier. Also the project manager was on site and helped us get the dips out of the floor several times to satisfaction. Great group and people and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Zach from Mount Valley Foundation Services. He arrived on time, was very professional, and took the time to carefully inspect everything without rushing. Zach explained the condition of our foundation clearly and honestly, answering all of our questions with patience. We truly appreciated his transparency and the way he made us feel informed and comfortable throughout the entire appointment. It’s not easy to find people who are both knowledgeable and trustworthy, but Zach definitely stands out. Highly recommend him and the company!

I needed to have my foundation repaired and called several companies for estimates. Their rep showed up on time, was respectful, knowledgeable and took the time to actually HEAR us. There were other companies that were cheaper, but you do get what you pay for. The work started on schedule and finished on schedule as well. They continue to come out and check the job annually (at a very small fee of about an $150) since they guarantee their work for the life of the house. I happily recommend them to anyone who needs that kind of work done.

I am very pleased with the service of Mount Valley foundations. My service men who are: William Cheek, Rashad Hayward and Aveion Jacobs did an excellent job. When they arrived here exactly on the time that they said they were going to be here I felt confident this was going to be a good experience. Mr. Cheek communicated with me throughout the whole process. After about 4 hours they were completed. He came inside my house and made sure everything was level as well as cleaned up their mess outside. He was very courteous and answered any questions that I had. If I have any other problems again, I will call Mount valley foundations.

Job was quoted, accepted, and then they followed through exactly as promised. Mike Zelewski went above and beyond my expectations getting the huge job done when promised. We have a 3 year old son so getting our basement fixed was #1 priority. MVFS made us feel like they respected that. I 100% recommend them for any foundation service needs. My job was 60 linear feet, 12 inches wide, about 5 inches deep. Closed gutter system into sump pump. All interior walk out basement. They also installed vapor barrier on all interior block walls.

One of Mount Valley's field inspectors, Elliot W., came out to inspect a small foundation issue I was concerned about. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection and gave me some recommendations for fixes and improvements that I could do myself to prevent further issues, and told me exactly what I needed to monitor to see if the issue was getting worse over time, as opposed to trying to sell me a solution that I didn't need right now. He even took his boots off before coming inside, which I appreciated. I left the inspection feeling confident that should the issue get worse, mount valley will be the guys for the job.

Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!

From start to finish Mount Valley Foundation did an amazing job. My husband and I just moved from WI into a 1950s home. We would set our AC to 70 and the humidity would make it 85 in the home. We got a few different quotes and made our choice. As a first time home owner it’s always scary trying to find the right pick but Shaun, Dre, and Alex were all very informative about what they were doing and was always patient about me asking questions. After a day of completion we now stay at a nice 70 degree home with low humidity.

We discovered a crack in the foundation that ran along the interior of the outer walls of the house. I called Mount Valley and Dustin came to inspect. One corner of the foundation had dropped half an inch. I decided to contract their services. Yiannis and Landon arrived a few days later. They walked me through the repair process before proceeding and did a fantastic job. Before they left we walked through the work area and presented the results. I am impressed with quality of the work done. I will be recommending Mount Valley to everyone I know.

After consulting multiple local companies after my daughter's first home purchase, this was the only company that responded promptly and professionally. Anderson Pusey was our point of contact, and from that initial consultation, not only was it obvious he was knowledgeable, but it was also evident he is passionate about helping people and following through on his commitment to his customers. Never have I experienced this level of dedication with any contractor. Having a "sales" person exhibit the level of care and service that Anderson has from start to finish is unheard of. To say Anderson went "above and beyond" is the understatement of the century. Use Mount Valley Foundation for your crawl space encapsulation needs as we did… you will not be disappointed. The follow-up is always the proof of good service. It's pretty hard to get good contractors out here in the middle of nowhere South Carolina. When I moved into my home with a slab foundation, the last thing I thought I have to deal with was PVC plumbing pipes being used as foundation supports. Apparently the house had settled, crushing one of the drainage pipes, allowing fresh water to flow into my septic system. The plumber couldn't repair the pipe due to fear of the house sinking more. So I did some research, and chose Mount Valley Services. The work was relatively minimally invasive, and everything looked normal after the support was installed. Flashforward to today, Service Technician Bryan Curtis was able to keep me reassured about the foundation's support by solving the issues I was having with wide gaps under my doors. He had to go full Sherlock Holmes style to do it, but he figured it out, giving me peace of mind, and one less thing to worry about. All of these reports about sinkholes have me paranoid. Thank goodness my house is supported at the bedrock level. Thanks Mount Valley. Highly recommended.

My old house needs some love and I had concerns about my flooring. But after working with Elliot, my worries were put to rest. He arrived promptly and listened carefully. He was a great sport about shimmying into the crawl space where he immediately encountered a dead rat, which didn't faze him a bit. Thankfully it's only a subfloor issue. Elliot explained a couple of ways to go about fixing it. I will definitely be using Mount Valley Foundation to replace the subfloor when the time comes to move on this project. The crew Darrell, Andrew and EJ were great! Darrell called every morning to let me know they were on the way. He let me know the progress they were making and the issues he saw. The salesman Trey Smedley came measured my house went thru with laser then came to me to show what he found explained everything. He answered every question I had, showed videos of how things were done. He was patient very polite. I’ve had other quotes but they never took time to show me what they found figured quote they didn’t go thru all the rooms only bedrooms. I had other places that Trey found and price for all work was not much higher and I’m getting what the other quote never discussed. My opinion you have a great salesman even when I broke down and cried because I’m stressed with issue and having to pay for all that’s wrong with house. He gave me a minute to get myself together. I’m widowed it’s me now and I struggle but this has to be done before it gets more costly. He deserves a good bonus you’re very lucky to have him on your team
