We had GroundWorks out before and that crew really only did half the job. Marybeth and her crew were courteous, respectful and responsive going the extra mile not only doing the work we contracted for but repairing the problems from the previous repair. It was so nice for a change to have a service provider arrive on time and provide exactly what I expected. Alex Myers and his crew; Cedric Kensley, Omar Cummings, Raeqwan-White Robinson, got right to work and did an outstanding job. Alex called to let me know when they were 30 mins out, greeted me, introduced himself and shook my hand. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism and the demeanor of his crew. I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with their work. Plus, Alex took photos so I didn’t have to crawl under the house to inspect the results. We scheduled three appointments with local foundation companies to get estimates on jack placement in our crawlspace. All were professional and.provided information, photos and pricing. We chose Mount Valley because of interaction with John Penn. Pricing was competitive but we felt most informed and confident with John and Mount.Valley. He was available and prompt to answer questions and concerns. On installation day, Tommy and crew arrived on time, introduced themselves and quickly went to work. They were a cohesive team and had the job completed in a few hours. We have been very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Mount Valley.

Called to have some cracks in my slab foundation looked at. Will Hedgecock came out and looked at it and explained that this is a common problem with the soils here. I had a lot of anxiety about doing significant work to the house as I have just retired in the last year and still have a lot of decisions to make regarding if I will keep a residence here. Will was very understanding about my anxiety and gave me all of the options so I can relax and take the time I need to think through my overall situation thoroughly and make the best decision going forward. Will is not only an expert in the technical aspects of foundation issues but is very understanding. Will has returned every call and answered every question promptly. He took the time and effort to to help me see all of the elements of the "big picture" giving me the information I need to make the best decision.

Since there is a minimum upfront cost, and my project was very small, I decided to leave the sidewalk the way it was. Bradley was fine with my decision and didn't try to change my mind. We had a great experience with Mt. Valley! They did what they said they would do. Andy and his team (Ryan, Darrian, Tanjier) arrived right on time both days, worked hard, cleaned up the site and we hardly new they were there except for a little banging around under the house. We could already tell a big difference by the end of day 1, and they completed in only 2 days. Andy walked with us through the house as final leveling adjustments were made and addressed our concern locations. Very satisfied customers!

Friendly, courteous, and respectful service that will also span years of followup care, hereinafter. These are very qualified individuals, and they were good at their tasks and responsible to manage the care of my home! I would recommend them to anyone!!! Let me also spotlight Jalen, Garrett, and Hunter, the three men that accomplished all of the above-mentioned labor and results! They were terrific people to deal with, too, and I think I may have made some long-term friends in the process as we interacted well together!!! Let me likewise highlight the initial phase of getting the financing approved and writing the contract and getting the engineering in progress and orchestrating the whole project, all that was done by Carlton, who was tremendous in working all of this out! We are happy to leave an outstanding review for Kevin A and Harley for the work they did for us to stabilize our concrete slab. They went above and beyond to complete the work on a Sunday with very short notice. They were very willing to explain all of the procedures and answer any questions we had. They were polite and conscientious. They left everything clean and took careful attention to look out for walls and baseboards. We would definitely recommend them to others and use them again for any future needs.

It’s scary contracting with Foundation companies as the cost of thousands of dollars is in the offing. Our 85 year-old house in Wagener Terrace needed 11 floor and structural supports. Kevin reviewed the crawlspace with me and the work was performed by Derek and TJ, resulting in what now feels like a new house! Job was quoted, accepted, and then they followed through exactly as promised. Mike Zelewski went above and beyond my expectations getting the huge job done when promised. We have a 3 year old son so getting our basement fixed was #1 priority. MVFS made us feel like they respected that. I 100% recommend them for any foundation service needs. My job was 60 linear feet, 12 inches wide, about 5 inches deep. Closed gutter system into sump pump. All interior walk out basement. They also installed vapor barrier on all interior block walls.

I discovered a crack in the front corner of my brick home. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris Geddie when Mount Valley corrected a sagging corner of my neighbors home, and asked Chris to look at my situation. He came with an entire set of state-of-the-art measuring tools, and recommended support of my foundation where the crack had occurred. The 3 man technical team the Service leader, Juan, dispatched, led by Foreman Oscar Mota, came and installed four piers supporting the foundation, which helped close the crack in the wall substantially. Mount Valley's warrantee has given me the piece of mind that I will not be bothered by foundation issues for life. Oscar and his team did a fantastic, quick, and very clean installation, and left my property in great shape. The team went the extra mile to clean up and restore the site to it's original appearance. If you need foundation help, you will not go wrong with Mount Valley Foundation Services!

My termite bond company alerted me to an extremely high humidity problem in my crawl space. Mold and wood rot were going to be a problem if we did not get it under control so an encapsulation was needed. I called 3 different companies to come and quote the job. Jack Jeffords from Mount Valley came and gave me a no nonsense estimate of what needed to be done. He proposed exactly what was necessary and didn't pad the quote with a bunch of extras that would drive the cost up. MTVS has a low price guarantee stating that they will match any other competitors quote for like for like work and beat it by $100. Encapsulation done properly is not an inexpensive situation. That being said they beat one of the competitors quotes by $10,000 and met the price of the other lowest price that I had received. Jack and his manager worked with me to get the lowest possible cost and I felt really confident with Mount Valley as a organization.A deposit was paid and the work was scheduled about a month away. I got a phone call from the office asking if I would like an earlier date and I said yes. They had a job that had gotten postponed and I was able to take that slot about 3 weeks earlier than scheduled.On the morning of my appointment I was greeted by the job foreman Alex and his assistant Roderick. These guys were great in every respect. My crawl space is quite low and difficult, only 2' at it's tallest point. These two guys attacked it without a complaint and in quick order had the old vapor barrier pulled out and the trash and debris removed and bagged up. They began to wrap the 21 piers and cover the foundation walls with their 20 mil plastic. Then they covered the crawl space floor and the taping process began. On the third day David came and was part of the work crew as well. These guys were all very friendly hard working sharp fellows and were a joy to work with!I am 100% pleased with the whole experience and highly recommend Mount Valley Foundation Service. They will do a great job for you and won't try to oversell or take advantage of you.Thanks MVFS for fixing my problem and protecting my home.

The salesman Trey Smedley came measured my house went thru with laser then came to me to show what he found explained everything. He answered every question I had, showed videos of how things were done. He was patient very polite. I’ve had other quotes but they never took time to show me what they found figured quote they didn’t go thru all the rooms only bedrooms. I had other places that Trey found and price for all work was not much higher and I’m getting what the other quote never discussed. My opinion you have a great salesman even when I broke down and cried because I’m stressed with issue and having to pay for all that’s wrong with house. He gave me a minute to get myself together. I’m widowed it’s me now and I struggle but this has to be done before it gets more costly. He deserves a good bonus you’re very lucky to have him on your team
