My husband and I found Mount Valley Foundation through Angies list. They were prompt and had us an appointment right away. We were introduced to Mr. Jonathan Geddie. He made us both feel comfortable as he went through every detail of the company and how they operate. Also, when he started to evaluate our home he was very thorough and gave us every detail and information to how to solve our foundation issues. He made sure we understood and listened to our questions and concerns. Having a company that is not only well known to many, but to have someone like Mr. Jonathan who is well aware and knows his job so well helped us realize we chose the right and best company. We are so appreciative to Mr. Jonathan and the time we took with us.

From the very first phone call, Jon was professional, courteous, and attentive. When we scheduled the appointment, he showed up exactly when he said he would — which already speaks volumes about his character. But what really impressed us was what happened next. Jon didn’t just “look around” and throw together a quick estimate. He took his time — real time — to thoroughly inspect everything. He crawled underneath the crawlspace, carefully examined the foundation, inspected the cross members, and checked every area where there could potentially be an issue. He was methodical, detailed, and incredibly thorough. It was clear he genuinely cared about understanding the full scope of the situation rather than just selling a service. We originally reached out for an estimate on encapsulation, but Jon made sure no stone was left unturned. He explained what he was seeing in clear, understandable terms — not technical jargon that leaves you confused. He broke down the pricing step by step and walked us through financing options that are available. There was zero pressure. Just honesty and information. What really stood out to us was his integrity. Jon didn’t rush us. He didn’t push us. He didn’t make us feel like we were “just another job.” He gave us space to think, answered every question patiently, and made sure we were comfortable and confident in what was being discussed. He even pointed out additional services and features the company offers that could benefit us in the future — not in a sales-driven way, but in a helpful, informative way. Beyond his professionalism, Jon is simply a great human being. He is knowledgeable, respectful, well-mannered, and genuinely pleasant to be around. We actually sat down and enjoyed lunch together while he was here, and at no point did he seem rushed or distracted. That speaks volumes. In today’s world, it’s rare to meet someone who blends professionalism with such authenticity and kindness. Jon is reliable, trustworthy, and follows through on what he says he will do — and then goes above and beyond. You can tell he takes pride in his work and in representing Mountain Valley Foundations the right way. If you are considering any foundation work, encapsulation, or related services, I wholeheartedly recommend Jon Geddie. It’s not often you come across someone who combines expertise, integrity, and genuine care the way he does. We are grateful for the time he spent with us and the confidence he gave us moving forward. Outstanding experience from start to finish.
