My old house needs some love and I had concerns about my flooring. But after working with Elliot, my worries were put to rest. He arrived promptly and listened carefully. He was a great sport about shimmying into the crawl space where he immediately encountered a dead rat, which didn't faze him a bit. Thankfully it's only a subfloor issue. Elliot explained a couple of ways to go about fixing it. I will definitely be using Mount Valley Foundation to replace the subfloor when the time comes to move on this project. So thankful to be worry-free! A+++++++

I reached out to Mount Valley Foundations and asked them to send someone out to evaluate my crawl space and provide me a quote for a full encapsulation. An appointment was set and Patrick showed up to our house as scheduled. He completed a thorough inspection, then sat with us for over an hour explaining in detail what he saw. He provided pictures taken under our house and used slides/videos to educate us on encapsulation. Patrick was very professional, answered all our questions and guided us through our financing options. From there, we were placed on the schedule for install. Derrick and TJ were the team they sent for our project. They called us the morning of to let us know they were on the way. When they arrived, Derrick explained what they were going to do each step of the way and got right to work. The encapsulation took a little over two days. On the last day, Derrick took me into the crawl space and made sure I was happy with the installation. Rarely do finished products look like the marketing photos, but this was the exception; everything was meticulous! I'm in residential construction by trade so I'm somewhat familiar with air sealing techniques and this job was done with care. Thank you to Derrick, TJ, Patrick and the entire team at Mount Valley Foundations!

I have no complaints about the technicians sent to my house. There were several, as they kept sending people who were too big to fit under my house, but they were all nice and professional. Eventually, the Service Manager showed up with a team and things moved a little faster. However, ultimately it took six months to get any actual work completed. They just finished up the last piece of the project Jan 2, 2026, which was late, but it was the primary thing I wanted and needed done – it was the warranty work – adjusting the jacks. It wasn’t completed by the date they originally said it would be, but it was eventually done and it did help. I also asked for a crawl space encapsulation. I didn’t get an encapsulation, I got a vapor barrier. It was included in the $28K worth of other recommended work, that I paid for. At this point I don’t know if it was worth it, but I sure hope it was. For me, that’s a lot of money! Anyway, two of their project foremen said the sump pump they installed was in the wrong place or there should be an additional one installed at the back corner of my house where the water (groundwater seepage) is actually occurring at. The Production Manager did call me back and agreed to re-evaluate in three months and said if the current setup with the installed French drains and sump pump at the front of the house isn’t getting that groundwater seepage out, he’ll have a crew install a second sump pump in that other location for free. Again, no complaints about the crews or quality of the work. Just questioning the accuracy and timeliness. It took so long that one of my walls finally cracked and that could have been avoided. Great work by Derrick, James, Jerome. Also Jarrod and Will – and their crews.

My husband and I had a great experience with Mount Valley! Brandon did our initial consultation. He was timely, thorough, and answered all our questions professionally. We had work done on two separate days and again everyone who showed up had amazing customer service. Will, Jimmy, Ober, Austin, and Michael all answered any questions we had without making us feel like we were in the way. They actually encouraged us to ask questions and watch the process to make sure we understood what was happening to our house. I also have peace of mind about my home with the transferable warranty.

This crew recently installed eight foundation piers—six on my property and two at my neighbor’s—to prevent further settling. Their performance, professionalism, and attention to detail exceeded every expectation. Despite a mid-project equipment failure, Will quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue, minimizing downtime and keeping the job on track. His leadership was confident, calm, and efficient. Jimmy and Myshaun worked with focus, precision, and a strong sense of purpose—even while managing the challenge of my home's low-amperage breaker constantly tripping. Without the need to consult their foreman, they remained proactive and task-oriented, clearly taking full ownership of their roles. Both demonstrated strong leadership potential. Equally impressive was their demeanor throughout the day. They were respectful and patient around my children and tolerant of my presence as I observed the work. When my curiosity prompted questions, they each took the time to explain the process with professionalism, friendliness, and deep knowledge. They maintained clear attention to safety at all times and were remarkably considerate of my property—protecting the lawn, landscaping, and fixtures with great care. The fact that they completed the full scope of work in a single business day, with quality and efficiency, speaks volumes about their coordination and work ethic. We scheduled three appointments with local foundation companies to get estimates on jack placement in our crawlspace. All were professional and.provided information, photos and pricing. We chose Mount Valley because of interaction with John Penn. Pricing was competitive but we felt most informed and confident with John and Mount.Valley. He was available and prompt to answer questions and concerns. On installation day, Tommy and crew arrived on time, introduced themselves and quickly went to work. They were a cohesive team and had the job completed in a few hours. We have been very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Mount Valley.

Before contacting Don, I had another company come out to give me a quote, but they spent very little time onsite and barely pointed out any issues. Don, on the other hand, was incredibly thorough. He took the time to walk through every detail, identifying potential issues and explaining all of the available options. His expertise and dedication to ensuring everything was covered gave me complete confidence in his recommendations. We had our crawl space encapsulated and dehumidifier installed. We were notified when the inspection was to take place. Everything was explained to us along with photos. The installers called when they were on their way. Cody and Von ( installers) were prompt, knowledgeable and did a good job. They let us know what they did and called us when they were on their way.

We found a leak under my crawlspace, called the plumber because we thought it was the pipes and he informed us that it was a foundation leak and there was nothing wrong with the pipes. Well, we had heard about you guys because some friends used you for a project at their home and Daniel came out. He was professional. I asked him to use a mask and he.immediately Complied with the request. We sat at the table had a detailed discussion he was very friendly gave a lot of information very knowledgeable and thank God we did not need the service because he found nothing after his inspection but if I ever need help again in this type of way, I would be more than glad to call you guys because Daniel left a lasting impression.

Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!

We hired Mount Valley Foundation Services to stabilize and level the floor in our 42 year home and we couldn’t be happier with their work. They added intellijacks and a support beam in the crawlspace below our sagging floor and leveled it. The work team, led by Ron, was friendly and professional and made sure we were completely happy with our floor before they were done. The field supervisor, Phillip, then came in and confirmed the work was completed according to the engineering specification and approved. We highly recommend Mount Valley.

Patrick came out the same day I called in to have a quote for my jacks and was very informative. He spent over three hours inspecting my perimeter inspecting every area of my crawlspace. What I am intending to do is take down a weight-bearing wall between two living room rooms and I called Mount Valley Foundation-NOW called Groundworks. Patrick provided me with the most detailed explanation about my crawlspace. I have not used This company yet, as I am still getting other quotes but I will say this is a serious consideration. The prices were reasonable very reasonable and he was applying a 15% discount to that as well. Professionalism was on point. Detailed oriented and provided me with 47 pictures of my crawlspace. Thank you for coming out taking the time without trying to be a pushy salesman. I will be using you For this project.
